Who is Running both wings of the White House

What exactly does Valerie Jarrett—the Chicagoan often described as a big sister or mother figure to the Obamas—do in the White House? The instant histories of the Obama White House tend to portray her as the Obamas’ pit bull, a woman loyal only to the president, first lady and her own image. In a recent book on the 2012 campaign, Jonathan Alter writes that Rahm Emanuel, on agreeing to become Obama’s chief of staff, recognized that Jarrett would wield such outsized power that he tried unsuccessfully to finesse her into Obama’s senate seat. (Alter also speculates that Valerie Jarrett was one reason why Rahm hightailed it out of DC in late 2010 into the relative ease of the Fifth Floor.)

Others in media and Washington circles portray Jarrett, who held top positions in Chicago government and business, as a brilliant strategist and thinker who practically runs both wings of the White House and who did as much or more than anyone to put the Obamas there. In 1991, Jarrett, then Mayor Rich Daley’s deputy chief of staff, offered Michelle Robinson a job in City Hall. Before Michelle accepted, she insisted that Jarrett meet with Michelle’s fiancĂ© Barack Obama. Jarrett promptly took both under her wing and, over the years, introduced Barack to the inner Daley circle, to wealthy business people, and to the people who mattered in her enclave, Hyde Park—all of which helped Obama as he moved up from community organizer to Springfield to Washington.
So which is it? Here are six pieces of conventional wisdom about Valerie Jarrett, 57, followed by, in my opinion, the reality.
1. Valerie Jarrett’s power in Obama’s White House stems from her position as senior adviser to the president.
Yes, she holds a conventional power position in the administration, carrying a portfolio that covers such issues as as how the administration can boost business in a down economy, implement programs to improve the lives of women and girls, develop better communication with state and local governments and other constituency groups.
The reality is that her power stems from friendship with the first couple, forged by after-hour access, total trust that her only motive is to protect the first couple’s images and advance their interests. Valerie Jarrett is not powerful because she creates and implements policy, but because she’s the last person the president and/or first lady talk to, sometimes over dinner in their private dining room. It was reportedly the Obamas who persuaded Jarrett not to pursue appointment to the President-Elect’s vacated U.S. senate seat, but instead to keep close to them in the White House.
She vacations with the first couple in Hawaii and on the Vineyard, and she can sometimes sound like their flac: Michelle is “fabulous at 50.” Barack is “just too talented to do what ordinary people do” (as quoted in David Remnick’s The Bridge). She decides who’s invited to small White House parties and state dinners.
Jarrett can save the jobs of people she likes, such as Attorney General Eric Holder, who faced calls for his ouster when he announced his decision to bring Kahlid Sheikh Mohammad to trial in New York. In advocating for Holder, she protected not just a personal favorite but one close to the Obamas as well—after she’d earlier announced that the couple wasn’t making new friends in DC. He kept his job, and is one of only two cabinet secretaries who will likely serve two full terms. Jarrett acquired the nickname “Eric’s appeals court.”
2. Jarrett has a record of success working for the President in the White House.
There’s always the historical analysis to come, but so far she is considered to have a spotty record, especially on the key portfolio item—serving as the administration’s liaison to business. Jarrett came to the White House with some impressive Chicago business credentials: CEO of The Habitat Company, a Chicago developer of housing ranging from luxury to public; chairman of the CTA; chairman of the board of the Chicago Stock Exchange; a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Yet, as the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank has written, “current and former White House officials … raised questions about Jarrett’s effectiveness and judgment.”
Politico’s Mike Allen and Jim VandeHei write that Obama’s “… relations with business leaders could hardly be worse.”
Politico’s Jeanne Cummings and Ben White have characterized the Obama White House’s “…relationship with the corporate world” as having “a sort of Mars-Venus quality to it. Business leaders say Obama simply doesn’t get them and has no one in the White House with corporate experience or who is steeped in the daily challenges of operating in a global economy.”
Jason Horowitz, then writing about Jarrett for the Washington Post, described “disgruntled Obama donors in the financial industry… [who] have cast Jarrett as insufficiently sophisticated on economic issues and incapable of brooking any dissent about Obama. `I have always thought she was a liability,’ said one prominent investor and donor…. `I’ve talked to people in the White House about it, and they have agreed with me, but they are scared to say anything.’”
It was, well, conventional wisdom, that Bill Daley was brought in as Rahm’s successor as chief of staff to clean up the administration’s messy relationships with business; perhaps understandably, Jarrett did not warm to Daley—and, according to Politico’s Glenn Thrush, “frequently shared her unflattering assessments with Obama.” Daley’s tenure as COS was short.
3. In Chicago, before the Obama presidency, Jarrett was widely admired for her skills in government and business.
In his latest book, Jonathan Alter writes that the oft-told story of Obama insisting on interviewing Jarrett before allowing his girlfriend to take a job in Daley’s administration did not “amuse” Rich Daley. According to Alter, Daley was no fan of Jarrett, finding her “indecisive as city planning commissioner” and refusing to promote her to chief of staff. Alter also writes that a CEO who visited the White House remarked, “When we go to the White House we talk to people we wouldn’t hire.”
In their book on the 2012 campaign, Mark Halperin and John Heilemann write that Wall Streeters “disparaged Obama’s team for lacking anyone with a meaningful background in the private sector. When Jarrett would huff, ‘Well I have one,’ they rolled their eyes; they considered her a political hack, ineffectual and entitled.”
4. Jarrett is a mother figure to other White House staffers, especially women.
She’s certainly that to Barack and Michelle: “I can count on someone like Valerie to take my hand and say, You need to think about these three things,” Michelle told the New York Times’ Jodie Kantor. “Like a mom, a big sister, I trust her implicitly.”
And she’s certainly that in her own mind: “And I try very hard to make sure that I am available to people here, particularly, I think, women often come to me. I am older than most of the people here, so I try to be a resource.”
Jonathan Alter’s reporting revealed someone quite different: “Staffers feared her, but didn’t like or trust her. At meetings she said little or nothing, instead lingering afterwards to express her views directly to the President, creating anxiety for her underlings and insulting them by saying, `I don’t talk just to hear myself talking.’”
Derogatory nicknames abound for Jarrett: “Keeper of the Essence,” “Night Stalker” (because of her access after hours to the Obamas in their private quarters), “personal custodian of the president’s lofty motives and gifts.” The latter comes from This Town author Mark Leibovich, who quotes from an apparently leaked memo titled “Magic of Valerie,” its 33 talking points circulated to White House staffers ahead of a New York Times Jarrett profile.
The memo cites as her “magic” qualities, “her intellect and her heart. She is an incredibly kind, caring and thoughtful person with a unique ability to pinpoint the voiceless and shine a light on them and the issues they and the President care about…. Valerie has an enormous capacity for both empathy and sympathy. She balances the need to be patient and judicious with the desire to get things done and work as hard as possible for the American people from the White House… Valerie is tapped in to people’s experiences, their good times and bad. …. Single mother, woman working to the top in a competitive male dominated world, African-American, working for change from the grassroots to big business…. Valerie is someone here who other people inside the building know they can trust. (need examples.)”
5. Jarrett’s dual role as the first couple’s best friend and their adviser is not particularly unusual in White House history.
The only White House adviser who comes close, personally and professionally, to matching Jarrett’s influence with both the President and First Lady is the FDR administration’s Louis Howe. Unlike Jarrett, Howe lived in the White House, but by then his power as an adviser had waned. He remained extremely close to both Franklin and Eleanor until his death in 1936 before Roosevelt finished his first term. According to University of Chicago political science professor Charles Lipson, “[Jarrett’s] position in the White House is unprecedented. No one has ever been a best friend and top adviser.”
6. On 1/20/17 Jarrett will hold the senior-adviser longevity record; she’ll turn off the lights in the White House and move on to another chapter in her life.
Jarrett will continue to harness her future to the Obamas’. Just as she helped with their transition to the White House, she’ll help with their transition out of it. She’ll be a key player in every aspect of the Obama Library and Museum, from pushing for it to be located at the University of Chicago, where she has deep ties, to helping to choose an architect, to raising money, to articulating and polishing the details of Barack Obama’s legacy.
As Jodie Kantor told me, “I don’t think Valerie’s ever leaving [the Obamas]. ….She has thrown her entire life into their cause, and she’s made it very clear that she would happily run in front of a speeding truck for them…. She has taken the president’s and First Lady’s success as the defining mission of her being.”

Syria: ISIL oil fields pounded by British bombers

Syria: ISIL oil fields pounded by British bombers

Britain’s Typhoon warplanes and Tornado jets – taking off from a base in Cyprus – have now conducted two rounds of air strikes in Syria against ISIL and its lucrative oil installations. Visiting the fighter pilots conducting the raids, the UK defence minister said on Saturday that the aim was to hit the Islamist militant group’s…

Obama on fighting Islamic State: “I’m not interested in…America winning”

Obama said: “What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually gonna work to protect the American people and to protect people in the region.”
Limbaugh points out just what is wrong and odd about this: “America winning has no relationship to protecting the American people?” Indeed, how can that be?
“Limbaugh: Obama not interested in winning against ISIS,” by Joe Kovacs, WND
In the wake of the Paris terror attacks last week, radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh says President Obama has no interest in winning against the Islamic terror group ISIS.
At a news conference Monday, Obama was asked if his “reluctance to enter another Middle East war and [his] preference of diplomacy over using the military makes the U.S. weaker and emboldens our enemies.”
Obama responded: “Some of [my critics] seem to think that if I were just more bellicose in expressing what we’re doing, that that would make a difference, because that seems to be the only thing that they’re doing is talking as if they’re tough. Folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, present a specific plan. What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually gonna work to protect the American people and to protect people in the region.”

Flight 7K9268 Downed…Shot Down, The Truth Exposed

Flight 7K9268 Downed…Shot Down, The Truth Exposed

The soldiers of the caliphate succeeded in bringing down a Russian plane in Sinai.”
– ISIS statement claiming responsibility for the take down of KGL Flight 7K9268

Russia is a country now in the throws of mourning after last Saturday’s crash of Russian operated Kogalymavia (KGL) Flight 7K9268…the worst aviation disaster in Russian history. The Russian Airbus A321, just 23 minutes into its journey back to St. Petersburg from the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, crashed into a mountainous area near Wadi al-Zolomat in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula after losing radar contact at 31,000 feet. Killed were all 217 passengers and seven crew members on board, with wreckage spread out over more than eight square miles of desert…desert that holy men once tread upon. Russian airline Kogalymavia
operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia

And while leaders in Moscow and Cairo have been adamant that the jet’s downing was an accident, the fact remains that within hours of the crash a Sinai-based EgKGL 9yptian militant group…ISIS in the Sinai…claimed it had shot down the plane as payback for both Russia’s military intervention in Syria and for Vladimir Putin’s aligning with President Bashar al-Assad against the anything but ‘so called’ moderate rebels, thus verbally cemented what we have always said were the ties between said rebels and ISIS itself.

And now some ‘so-called’ government aviation experts…experts who were NOT on-scene yet who insist that the plane was NOT hit from the outside…ignore the fact that cockpit recordings revealed what were “uncharacteristic sounds” for a routine flight in the moments before the plane disappeared from radar…disappeared when just just four minutes before a routine exchange occurred between the crew and air traffic control with no unusual conversation following said exchange.

Still believing that it was either a bomb in the cargo hold set on a timer or on an altitude sensitive device…or that it was a breech of one of the fuel tanks that brought the plane down…the undisputed fact remains that a U.S. satellite picked up heat flashes both at the exact moment the Russian airliner crashed as well as heat flashes emanating from the area the plane was in before it crashed. And those flashes point to a fact either innocently overlooked or more likely to a truth that must not get out. And, we believe that truth to be, contrary to both public opinion and to what the media wants us to believe, that a missile did indeed bring down KGL Flight 7K9268.

kgl 3And here folks is why we believe so.

In photo 1, a still frame lifted directly from the video released by ISIS, you see the plane intact one second before it exploded. In photo 2, lifted from the same video, you see the plane still intact ½ second before it exploded. In photo 3, maybe a 50th to a100th of a second before the actual explosion, notice the heavy dark perfectly shaped rectangular blur below the left wing that was not there a millisecond before…that folks is a projectile hitting the plane. In photo 4, you see the exact moment of impact and the vertical disc-shaped explosion itself along with a graduating halo emanating from the point of impact. And these photos are only the first part of our proof that this plane was indeed taken down by a missile.

Please also take a look at the actual ISIS video  (before it’s taken down) and pay close attention to ‘second 4’ and you will see the still we posted. Also remember that an ISIS fighter had his cell phone video running as he was looking up, tracking, and recording this specific plane as it was flying overhead…as if he was waiting for something to happen because he knew something would be happening. And this means he knew both the flight path and the flight timing, therefore, logic dictates that this man was instructed to record this specific explosion to show the world that ISIS is a true force to be reckoned with.

And giving more credence to our above stated scenario is part 2 of our proof… three critical but hushed-up bits of information…information that has been confirmed by medical investigators on scene. First, it has confirmed that neither the debris field itself nor the recovered bodies had any explosive residue on them, and the reason there is no residue on the bodies is because the missile hit was near where the wing joined the body, basically leaving the body itself intact…meaning the people would have no explosive residue on them as the passenger cabin itself was not breached. Now couple that with the fact that if the crash was caused by an explosion in the cargo hold bomb residue would still show up on at least the bodies nearest the detonation site…as in those sitting over the cargo hold, and again no residue has shown up on any of the bodies recovered and most of the bodies have already been recovered.

And if a detonation of the magnitude that would have caused a fuel tank rupture and KGL 4subsequent explosion occurred, the fact is that said explosion would have quickly engulfed the entire plane turning it into a fireball of sorts burning up everything and everyone in sight…and with only one in five of bodies recovered being burned… some burned so badly that DNA testing will be needed to determine who they are…why then did the majority of bodies recovered show not a sign of being burnt.

The second critical bit of information is that the bodies recovered that were found burned were burned ‘ante-mortem’…meaning the burns they incurred happened before actual death and before the plane hit the ground…again with NO explosive residue found anywhere on them as would be if a bomb went off inside the plane as opposed to the plane being hit on the outside. And the third critical piece of information is that this past Tuesday, Alexander Smirnov, a Metrojet (the parent company of KGL) official, ruled out both technical issues or pilot error as the cause of the crash, saying instead that it was due to “an external impact on the plane”…and notice the word ‘external.’

The last part of our proof involves certain facts that will make some in the reKGL 7gime quite uncomfortable. First, in 2014 U.S. intel sources first suspected that ISIS had garnered surface-to-air missile capability. That was when ISIS claimed to have shot down an Iraqi helicopter and then last July, ISIS released photos showing one of their fighters firing a shoulder mounted SAM or MANPAD, however, the MANPAD system cannot reach the 31,000 foot altitude of the Russian airliner in question. It would take a rather sophisticated system, a radar guided, truck, or transport mounted system like the Russian S-200 to do so, and there have been reports that Russian surface-to-air missiles went missing after the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 back in July 2014. Remember, that jet was shot down over Ukrainian airspace by a group of Russian separatists who used a Buk surface-to-air 9M38 series missile which is capable of reaching planes flying at an altitude of 31,000 feet.

Also, a key fact that again the regime wants kept hidden at all cost is that 400 hundred American surface-to-air missiles were ‘taken’…if you will…from Libya during the terror KGL 8attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi…400 missiles that the military admitted were capable of bringing down jetliners. According to Joe diGenova, a former U.S. Attorney who represented Benghazi whistleblowers… whistleblowers who were privy to information about the government’s response during and after the Benghazi terror attack, the loss of those missiles was one the main reasons the U.S. State Department shut down 19 embassies across the Middle East after the Benghazi attack. “We have learned that one of the reasons the administration is so deeply concerned’ is that ‘there were 400 surface-to-air missiles stolen, and that they are…in the hands of many people, and that the biggest fear in the U.S. intelligence community is that one of these missiles will be used to shoot down an airliner,” diGenova said on the ‘Mornings in the Mall’ radio program soon after the attack. And when asked if the missiles were now in the hands of al-Qaeda operatives, DiGenova replied, “That is what these people (the whistleblowers) are telling us.”

And from al-Qaeda to ISIS is but a hop, skip, and a jump.

Remember, too, that ISIS has for some time claimed the ability to shoot down passenger jets and we don’t know exactly what sort of weapons, of that nature, ISIS has in their KGL 6possession, but they could very well have some of the still missing 400 missiles taken from Benghazi or one or two of the suspected missing Russian S-200 surface-to-air missiles. But what we do know as fact is that ISIS is in possession of many weapons we left in Iraq when Obama ordered the hasty pull-out, and when coupled with the fact that after the overthrow of Gaddafi many weapons in his possession made their way to Libyan ‘so-called’ rebels courtesy of the Obama regime…rebels now aligned with ISIS…it must be taken seriously when ISIS makes claims of having the capability of bringing down passenger jets…especially now when it’s ‘ISIS in the Sinai Peninsula’ doing the talking.

But as if on cue to divert us from this truth, comes the theory de-jour that the media wants us to buy into…a theory that a suicide bomber somehow got passed Egyptian security personnel and carried a bomb onto the plane. But again with no bomb residue having been found this scenario gets negated as well. But no matter which scenario you want to believe, the truth is that ISIS is indeed the culprit behind this horrific act. And with that being the case, Vladimir Putin is put in a difficult position because it means 224 Russian citizens were targeted solely to punish Putin for his intervention into the Syrian civil war.

To be sure, there are numerous theories circulating regarding how Flight 7K9268 met its kgl 10end ranging from mechanical failure, a bomb in the cargo hold, a bomb in the passenger compartment, a fuel tank rupture and our theory that it was a missile, as evidenced by what we can see in the video. A bomb in the cargo hold would have caused severe damage to luggage and yet, photos from the debris field show piles of completely intact luggage. A bomb detonated from within the passenger cabin would have done severe damage to bodies as well as leaving explosive residue on said bodies when, in fact, no such residue has been discovered, and aside from a few heavily damaged and dismembered bodies most likely caused by the actual impact, most bodies recovered were intact and showed no evidence of being burned.

And now even Vladmir Putin is backing off his previous statements that terrorism was to blame but why? Is he concerned how it would play at home should it be discovered that a stolen Russian-made missile, in the hands of ISIS, brought that plane down or could he have rethought his initial plan to launch tactical nukes at ISIS in retaliation, perhaps because some of his allies are having second thoughts about backing such a strike and Putin needs a face-saving reason not to do it?

Whatever the case, this is beginning to smell of cover-up, but the video, with that vertical blur a blink of an eye before the plane explodes, speaks voluKGL 5mes.

And while Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov continues to claim that it is “inappropriate” to link the crash to Russia’s military strategy in Syria, the fact is that innocent lives were lost, and that unlike with the case of Obama who has failed to take any serious action against ISIS at all, Vladimir Putin will indeed avenge those deaths and will do so sooner rather than later…and we can assure you his rightful revenge will not be pretty…not pretty indeed.

If you don't know how a Russian/Egypt Airbus could be shot down, you are not paying attention!

If you remember Obama is wanted the down fall of Bashar al-Assad in the worst way. Obama really wasn't doing much about ISIS until Putin forced his hand. Now the Obama administration is trying to cover his track by putting troops on the ground. Obama wanted to help the moderates and now fight ISIS. Do you know where ISIS may have got the weapons to shoot down Airbus. I'll give you one clue. It is the same game Obama and Hillary played in Libya.
What the attached segment and see if you can strategic possibilities . And don't think for a minute Russia and Egypt are not already discussing this. My contention, as well as others was that Obama was helping ISIS and the moderates to over throw Assad. We may have to except what Putin eventually says as the truth, because we sure as hell can't believe Washington

Ted Cruz:Obama Is Using ISIS Arguments Against Christians

(Posted in TRP Newsletter)
Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz is quickly becoming one of the more controversial candidates in the race. During a recent interview, he compared President Barack Obama to ISIS.
Cruz pointed out that Obama has made “the same argument that the terrorists use.”
“Not only is this president unwilling to go after, to call out radical Islam by its name, but at times President Obama has acted like an apologist for radical Islam,” Cruz began.
“And President Obama gave a speech, I was sitting at the prayer breakfast, he said, ‘Yes, ISIS is committing acts of terror, but Christians and Jews had committed acts of terror, too,’” he continued. “Now, last I checked the Crusades ended 900 years ago. I don’t think it’s asking too much to ask this president to stay in the current millennium.”
“And the reason I say he’s being an apologist is because that argument is the exact same argument that the terrorists use,” Cruz concluded. “ISIS, when they are beheading Christians, when they are crucifying Christians, they invoke the Crusades and the Inquisition.”
What do you think? Do you applaud Cruz for vocalizing his beliefs?
